Inspired by Gaudi, I started my first project. IFirst I gathered tiles.
One idea I had in my head.
Last year I collected all the necessary pebbles in Brittany.
For this pretty big project I would go after the renovation to begin.Now we begin!
Okay here we go.
The picture of the landscape is still in my head, it began to look nice on the wall of the new toilet. I'm so excited by the results
The blue red white and yellow colors flowed together on the wall. Ohhhh so beautiful !!
Unbelievable what a look. So beautiful!
Soon I was ready with the first wall.
Now think about the other walls.
A niche that I was going to tile.
To make a memorial corner of it.
And this is the result.

In the meantime made a wonderful trip to Australia
Seen plenty of nature and insanely made a lot off great photos.
Yet a moment to tell you about Pam

A woman (Pam) living in Bedigo-Victoria-Australia she makes the most beautiful felted clothing,
I've ever seen
It's more than just normaly rolling. It's really ART.
Using a home made wet felting machine and 12 microns merino roving tops, silk, olive soap- natural colors (all dyed with natural products in and around her house)

12 micron.......... people really so soft I never never never felt anything like that. normaly the thickness of the wool is about 17 - 19 microns.
But 12 microns is so fantastically soft ............................SOFT !!!!!!
So I got a bag of wool from her to bring home..... and I'm going to test how the material works

* Try as I go testing in a few days.

Next week I will start again with felting
Have ordered 2 kg of wool into beautiful natural earth tones to create a large carpet.

But before the felting

create on paper with my pastel pencils a design
choose the colors roving tops of wool for using in design
create the first time a patch test how ....(and will the colors) fit together.
I'll up to date you (in the meantime making some pics)
And then after a few days of work , prepare and testingFinaly I'll start with my new huge creation.

Bracelet of the sea

Bracelet made of seed beads, real old inca beads..

It's a picture of the sea in France last summer.

Moules and rocks alga water all it was amazing al that beatiful sea see thinks.

Clothing with a box clasp. An old one too. With strass beads on it.

I used the new C-Lon wire, it's really very very strong.

It's one made of it, so it makes it a very unique artist bracelet.

A month of inspiration in France

We're back, back from our trip to France.
4 weeks of camping in our huge tent.
Making lots of pictures from the sea the rocks the fish, alga, stones and landscapes.
Ohh really it was immense and amazing to see this beautiful earth things.
Inspiration for the rest of the year, well.... maybe in the early summer we will make a trip to the south of France last year we went to Aix a Provence for my inspiration of making my designs for my bracelets painting and felting work.
Using diferent colors using new themes for my design bags.

Standing there thinking how to make a bracelet with all this beautiful sea-see-things
Well here it is !!! A lot of gem beads and matte sead beads I created a anemone moules and sea rocks bracelet.

It's an impression of our holliday last august in France (Britany) at the west coast by the sea called Tregcunec. About 20 km from Quimper.
It's a landscape bracelet with the colors of the sea...The rocks and sky....

So here... my next finished bag. This is one of my beauties. I made it with the wet felting technique. Earlier I post a picture of the bag (not finished).

Before the bag is finished, I sewed some nice natural colored beads on it.

I finished the bag with an overlay with some dreadlocks in the beautiful color ultramarijn.

A shoulderband, and a big button on top of it.

I made a nice felted button for closing the bag in the front.

Used some very old beads and sewed them on the bag.

Wall hanging in different colours of merino and montevideo wool.

First I felted a fabric of wool with water and olive-soap, later after drying I felted it with the needle.

After al the needle felting, I put the hole fabric in the washing machine and afterwards the wool fits together in a soft fabric .

It's a story of pictures in my mind from different holidays.

The size is about 45*45 cm
